Pranksy originally purchased NFT for 296.69 ETH ($11.1 million) on January 5, 2022, and his over-year term as a holder of Golden Ape Doodle is now over. This is the biggest sale in his doodle NFT offload, and Pranksy has sold 28 other doodles through bids over the past few days, selling in total with 77 ETH.
The buyer is reportedly a Chinese NFT collector @haoxitong who revealed his purchase on X. On X, discussing sales, Pranksy noted that he would say, “I would love to say that I spent every day together, but since that day, it was very terrible”, reflecting the loss and decline in the NFT market.
