Following the Formula One (F1) season and next week’s Spielwarenmesse Toy Show, Hot Wheels has waved the launch flag for the latest range of its F1 partners.
Following last year’s announcement of a partnership with F1, Hot Wheels has launched more premium racing and track die-cast vehicles. The new range includes eight F1 teams, including Hot Wheels single-packs, five-packs and premium collectibles.
“The overwhelming response from fans around the world following the launch of our Hot Wheels and Formula 1 cars has been exciting,” said Roberto Stanichi, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Vehicles and Building Kits, Hot Wheels. “The next phase of the partnership is focused on delivering products and experiences to fans that bring the worlds of Hot Wheels and Formula 1 together like never before, and we’re just getting started.”
The collection includes 1:64 die-cast cars specially built for the Hot Wheels track. Oracle Red Bull Racing is available now; Williams Racing will be available in March and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team will cross the finish line in June. The cars can also be paired with the new this year’s Sprint Race Circuit and Grand Prix Circuit Track Sets.
Sprint Raceway invites racers to use the gas pedal boost to launch their cars in a close race or enjoy Lap Mode using the lap counter. The Grand Prix circuit will be launched on August 30 with two-speed three-lane assist and two manual DRS steering units. The lap counter can count up to 25 laps. Racers can switch to infinite mode and race forever.
Hot Wheels will launch five combinations of popular F1 teams, including McLaren Formula 1 Team, BWT Alpine F1 Team, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team and KICK Sauber F1 Team. The 1:64 diecast car can be displayed or raced to recreate legendary moments.
The scale of the advanced series is also 1:64. Each vehicle features a metal body and chassis and Real Riders tires. The cars have authentic details. Available teams include McLaren Formula 1 Team, Oracle Red Bull Racing, Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula 1 Team, BWT Alpine F1 Team, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team, Visa Cash App RB Formula 1 Team, Williams Racing and Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber.
