After too long a release month, Pokémon TCG Pocket Finally a new event has launched in its rather echoey corridor – the Bulbasaur Drop event. Oh wow, it comes with a winning card that appears right at the top of the binder.
Much like the early Lapras drop eventthe Venusaur version is a collection of player vs. CPU battles where the game will play increasingly powerful deck builds based on the final evolution of the OG grass-type starter. Beating these missions will net you a series of rewards, and you can unlock additional bonuses if you re-fight each stage to complete specific missions.
And, like the Lapras event, it’s also bogged down by another bullshit currency in the game, which limits the number of times you can play it in the form of an “Activity Stamina (Single Player)” hourglass. However, the prizes it’s offering seem to be more generous this time around, throwing in a handful of items that everyone really wants – the Bag Hourglass – as well as Miracle Stamina, Shinedust, shop tickets, and more event hourglasses to keep you playing. Oh, and best of all, it’s a lot friendlier when it comes to handing out new promotional packs of Series A volumes. 2, where you can pull off a new set of stamped promo cards, featuring stunning new Venusaur full art drawn by Kuroimori.

My son did well in this event, but he was very unlucky, although he benefited greatly from getting the first pack of Lapras ex in the previous drop event. However, I then not only pulled a new Bulbasaur in my first bag, but also a new Bulbasaur in my second bag, much to his chagrin! Haha, that Thatten years old.
You can then continue to replay the tiers, completing other tasks such as “Put your opponent’s Pokémon to sleep 1 time” or “Win this battle on turn 12,” which will reward you with Miracle Stamina and Activity Hourglass, and give ” Winning 20 or more top mission “battles” will also give you a new grind until the event ends on December 13th.
There are five cards to choose from in the promotional pack, each featuring never-before-seen artwork. pocket before (although somewhat familiar from real-world cards). Among them are Haunter, Jigglypuff, Onix, Greninja, and the beautiful Venusaur. Sadly, the latter is ruined by the big, ugly blue box obscuring the image, wildly overlapping with the actual Venusaur itself. Damn it.
