Following the Meowth and Chansey Wonder Pick activities, Pokémon TCG Pocket It provides new reasons for you to keep opening your phone and pursuing more digital cards. The Fire Pokémon Mass Burst event won’t give you new solo challenges, so don’t worry about putting together that Mist deck you’ve always wanted to build. Instead, this program specifically rewards those who like to check their Wonder Pick options all day long.
Here’s how the Fire Pokémon Massive Outbreak event works: From now until November 28, a special “Bonus Pick” option will appear in the Wonder Pick menu. This will let you randomly select one of the five fire-type cards for free, so you should always choose the bonus selection when you see it. These can appear multiple times throughout the day, so be sure to check out your fantastic picks whenever you decide to play. At the same time, you’ll occasionally see the “Rare Collection” pop up in the “Miracle Collection” menu, which contains a selection of rarer cards. Rare Picks do drain Magical Stamina, which takes 36 hours to replenish naturally.
Let’s see what exactly you get here:
All the cards you can get from the bonus collection
The card pools that can be selected as rewards are as follows:
Charmander
chameleon
Vulpix
Kyuubi
foal
fast
growing up
Magma
hot moor
Brian
Then again, the bonus selection is actually free, so even if the cards are terrible, it’s still worth grabbing. That said, the Charmander, Vulpix, and Pony Evolution sets can help flesh out Fire decks, especially if you can pair them with Blaine trainer cards. Kyuubi with Brain’s extra 30 points of damage can knock out Pikachu EX in one hit!

In the meantime, here’s what the rare picks pool looks like
Alkanion EX
Charizard
Moltres
Kyuubi
rapidash
chameleon
Brian
Is the Rare Collection worth the magical stamina?
Admittedly, the value outlook here is tricky. Charizard EX is one of the best cards in the gamebut that’s no On sale. Arcanine EX is the rarest option here, but it’s not exactly a “meta” card. The three-energy 120 damage can counter the Pikachu EX cards that keep popping up in online matches, so you definitely shouldn’t write it off. That said, given how Wonder Picks work, you’re not really guaranteed to catch one, so you have to weigh whether the risk is worth the reward. You can pull Arcanine EX during the event to get a Magic Hourglass and a Store Ticket, but that’s more of a nice perk than a reason to chase this card specifically.
Luckily, unlike most regular Miracle picks, the consolation prize you get here is pretty decent. As mentioned above, Kyuubi and Rapids can be deadly if paired with Bryan. If you want to build, you need Charmeleon any Charizard deck. If you don’t already own a Charizard or Firebat, this is a great opportunity to round out your collection.
Is it worth throwing them all at Rare Picks every time you see the Magic Hourglass? Well, unless you don’t have these cards in your collection, you probably won’t need To pursue these relentlessly. But is this a good way to use that magical stamina you’ve saved up and plan to spend? really, As long as you don’t feel inclined to flip after seeing all the cards you want more of.
