Video game concerts have been a part of fandom for decades. But starting next year, Sony will bring its own concert series, PlayStation: The Concert, to music-loving gamers in 200 cities around the world.
Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Sid Shuman announced the news via the PlayStation Blog. RoadCo Entertainment and GEA Live are partnering with Sony to launch PlayStation: The Concert, which will feature titles from The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, God of War and many more beloved Sony games music.
“As video game music continues to become a global focus, PlayStation: The Concert is poised to redefine the music experience,” said Schumann. “This is more than just a show; it’s the ultimate video game concert experience, embodying PlayStation’s innovative spirit and pushing the limits of what’s possible; from your console to stages around the world…fans will experience to multi-layered stunning fusion visuals, immersive surround sound, and an all-star ensemble that blends classical and contemporary instrumentation.
So far, only a handful of European tour dates have been announced, including a first concert in Dublin, Ireland, on April 19, 2025. Sites in the United States and other countries will be announced at a later date. Meanwhile, European fans can visit the official website and use early access code PLAYCONCERT24 to purchase tickets starting Wednesday, October 16 at 7am PT. Tickets will go on sale to the public on October 18th.
