Hasbro has launched a new campaign to enhance children’s critical development and imaginative play. Play-Doh Kids Can supports children through classroom lessons and digital programming. This initiative encourages children to play boldly and openly. This program is available in the United States and Canada.

Hasbro believes that “imagination is a superpower” and thus announced this campaign through the Play-Doh Imagination Curriculum. Hasbro hopes these programs will overcome limitations and barriers to creative play by overcoming factors that prevent children from openly using their imaginations, including stress, judgment and distraction.

The lessons feature quick activities that encourage children to open a can of Play-Doh anywhere they can. Activities range from 5 to 15 minutes and include guidance and lesson plans for guardians and educators. Hasbro hopes that the current generation will grow up without losing their imagination and be able to strengthen imagination as a skill.

In November, Play-Doh Imagination classes will be available to 400,000 students in Title 1 schools. Nonprofit organization First Book will provide 2 million cans of Play-Doh and curriculum manuals that educators can download for free online. Hasbro has made content available to families online at shop.hasbro.com/play-doh.
