The Philadelphia 76ers have launched Spectrum Sprint, a retro-style mobile game developed in partnership with Crypto.com. This free-to-play game combines classic side-scrolling gameplay with web3 technology, allowing players to win digital collectibles and other prizes.
The game features the Philadelphia landmark and historic Spectrum Arena as its finish line, giving fans the opportunity to compete on multiple difficulty levels for rewards. Prizes include courtside seats, invitations to exclusive events and private suites to future games.
The game will also be available live at select Sixers home games via pop-up arcades, providing fans with even more opportunities to participate in the game.
What is Spectrum Sprint?
Spectrum Sprint features pixel art visuals and side-scrolling mechanics reminiscent of classic arcade games. Players guide their characters through Philadelphia landmarks, including Broad Street, to Spectrum Arena, a venue with deep ties to the franchise’s history.
Participants can compete in one of four categories – Rookie, Pro, All-Star and Legend – with top scores recorded on the leaderboard. Rewards include courtside tickets, invitations to the Sixers Youth Foundation Gala, and a private suite for 12 guests during games during the 2025-26 NBA season.
High-scoring players can also unlock unique digital collectibles through the game.
part of a wider initiative
Developed by Impossible Brief, the game is the second part of a three-game series celebrating the Sixers’ Nike City Edition uniforms. The first game, “Buckets on Broad,” launched in November, and the final game will be released in March.
Fans attending the “Spirit of 76 Night” game can play Spectrum Sprint at the pop-up arcade station at Wells Fargo Center. These settings also allow participants to set up a Crypto.com account, connecting the game to the wider web3 initiative.
The partnership with Crypto.com reflects the Sixers’ approach to integrating technology into sports and fan engagement, while highlighting key elements of the team’s heritage.
