Sony’s State of Play event brings a surprise: former Xbox console exclusive game Palworld launches on PS5 today!
Palworld was incredibly successful when it launched earlier this year, attracting an incredible number of players across PC, Xbox and Game Pass.
However, its unexpected reveal at today’s event was somewhat tempered by the recent news that Nintendo is suing Palworld developers for patent infringement. This is likely to be a long and expensive legal battle, and I have to imagine Sony had some hasty discussions about whether to show the game in State of Play.
According to the trailer, Palworld is “launching today!” but as of this writing, it’s not actually on the PlayStation Store yet. But it should be available soon.
