$47.24 (originally $70)
The Blu-ray version includes the first 16 episodes of the first season of “Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End”, as well as special features such as clean end credits, promotional videos, and more. It also includes a set of art cards featuring several characters from the main cast.
The anime is adapted from the original manga series and tells the story of Freelon, a powerful elf who has lived for over 1,000 years. When the show begins, she has just completed a 10-year mission to defeat the Demon King alongside heroes Himmel, Ison, and Heit. Due to her long lifespan, ten years is nothing more than a brief moment for Freelon, and as the decades pass, Freelon slowly begins to understand human mortality and the connections she makes along the way. The result is an incredibly emotional series that touches your senses, and with the help of renowned animation studio Madhouse bringing everything to life, Frieren looks amazing.
If you’d like to check out the original manga created by Tsukasa Abe and Kanehito Yamada, you can order several paperback copies of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End right now. Like other comics from publisher Viz Media, these are regular pocket paperbacks and read from right to left.
