Mega Showcase’s Xbox 360 collectible brick set launched last October for $150, and the price has only changed twice since then. The Target-exclusive building set first went on sale in March; seven months later, it’s finally on sale for the second time as part of Target’s Circle Week sale. you can Save $50 on Xbox 360 buildable display model before October 12th— although it may sell out before then — which matches the all-time low of $100. Since it’s exclusive to Target, you won’t find this deal as part of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale.

This 1,342-piece building set is officially licensed by Microsoft and recommended for experienced Mega (or LEGO) builders. It builds a 3:4 scale replica of the console. Specifically, the launch version of the 360 debuted in 2005.
In addition to the console itself, you can also build a removable hard drive, an Xbox 360 controller, and a Halo 3 game cartridge. You can actually insert the fake Halo 3 disc into the disc reader by popping out the side panel. After loading the disc, the Cortana chip on the motherboard will light up. The Xbox Guide button also illuminates with a removable battery pack.
The power button on the front of the console also lights up, but luckily you don’t have to worry about seeing the infamous red ring of death.

The Xbox 360 isn’t the only Mega Bloks set to be on sale at deep discounts during Target Circle Week. Mega Bloks are an affordable alternative to LEGO. While Mega’s bricks aren’t as high quality as the king of bricks, Lego, the manufacturer has made improvements over the years. There are many great Mega Blok sets available today, including the one highlighted in this article.
The Xbox 360 is Mega’s only buildable video game console, but LEGO has also released a few consoles in recent years.
