Off-Grid appeared on Steam in June 2025

Web3 Battle Royale Game of the Grid of the Grid will be available in June 2025 with full cross-play on Steam, PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.

This is after the high-profile launch launched on the Xbox, PlayStation and Epic Games store in October 2024 – blockchain games ranked first among the epic games that Epic Games has appeared for free. Increasing Steam availability will allow the grid to attract another 130 million active users on PC – and given the recent updates severely improve the game’s performance, hopefully this will help inject fresh players into the experience.

The wishlist for using the grid on Steam is now available – although it remains to be seen which blockchain features it can be seen in Steam release.

What is a grid?

The Grid is followed by the post-apocalyptic Battle Royal title, built on the Avalanche and playable on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Developed by Gunzilla Games, players are trapped in a massive dystopian cityscape alone or in a squad, collecting gear, weapons and utilities (and unique Cyberrens) before becoming the last player.

The game is very popular in terms of release, with many of the biggest live streamers (such as XQC, Ninja, Shoud, etc.) broadcasting titles to their millions of fans and gradually helping the game grow to over 15 million registered players.

Using its local avalanche Gunz blockchain, the grid has an on-chain commodity economy where players can buy, sell and trade skins freely from each other. At the heart of the system is the $gun token – the price as of writing is $0.055 and the market cap is over $43.5 million.

When will you leave the steam grid?

The grid shutdown will boom in June 2025 – although the exact date has not been disclosed yet.

The Steam release may match the game updates – Off Grow has pushed updates every month since its release. The May update, which will be launched on May 5, 2025, is the first legend-driven battle pass to expand the game’s first legend-driven battle pass in the existing 60-hour story mode movement.
