Don Cheadle and his ocean 12 The actors know a paparazzi or two. This week, the actor shared his secret weapon for avoiding constant camera shots on the set of the 2004 film: distracting the media with Brad Pitt.

“When we did the second photo shoot in Italy, we had a whole floor of a hotel. We kind of had to do it because, I mean, ‘paparazzi’ is an Italian word,” Cheadle Said on C.Onan O’Brien needs a friend podcast. “If the paparazzi come, I’ll be with George or Matt or whoever, and we’ll be like, ‘Look that’s Brad!’ and they’ll—” Cheadle let out a ‘whoop!’ A sound! gesture. “‘Is that Brad?!'”

“I can still move around,” he said. “It doesn’t really bother me that much. Someone will say something, or I know someone will recognize me, but for the most part, I keep a low profile — I don’t think Brad can…he’s not going anywhere.
Cheadle continues to reflect on reputation. “It’s hard,” he said. “People say, ‘Well, what do you expect?’ They think that’s the contract: ‘I’m supposed to walk up to you, put my hat on your head, and go take a picture. “What happened? I paid for it. ‘Well, no. I did that, you paid for that, we shook hands, and now I’m just a guy here too.’
