New York Comic Con (NYCC) is happening this week, and the toy industry is making a big appearance at the Javits Center, and it’s not even ToyCon!
While many manufacturers of toys, games and collectibles will be on hand to display and sell their products at the show, several companies are also part of the official NYCC programming lineup. Below you will find a curated list of groups that should be of interest to anyone interested in the gaming business.
The Toy Book will be on stage during Saturday’s Lionel Trains – 125 Years of Memories panel event, while our sister publication The Pop Insider can be found in booth 1829 during the show. 1010 Games Co-Founder and Head of Publishing Arthur Parsons will join Funko’s VP of Licensing Jason Bischoff to showcase the future of 1010 Games funko fusionthis AAA game brings Funko’s unique charm to consoles and PC. The panel promises exclusive insights, sneak peeks, exciting giveaways, unexpected surprises, and a special guest appearance from The Walking Dead creator Skybound’s Robert Kirkman.

Industry Icon Todd McFarlane updated produce Movies, his upcoming comic projects, toys, and more.
Hasbro Toy Panel – Action Brands — 5:15 p.m., Room 408
Hasbro hosted an action-packed toy panel where members of the brand’s marketing team showcased exciting new products, giving fans a first look at its iconic action brand. The team will celebrate the 40th anniversary of Transformers with new Studio Series figures and announce new team members joining the GI JOE assortment line. You won’t want to miss the release of the latest Ghostbusters HasLab project. In addition, the panel will bring the latest information on Hasbro’s Star Wars-inspired lines, including The Black Series and Retro Collection, as well as Marvel, including exciting news about the Marvel Legends line.

Nacelle’s New Star Wars Action Figure – 11 a.m., Heting
Nacelle founder Brian Volk-Weiss and Co. came to NYCC to discuss the company’s new Star Wars action figures. These toys are inspired by some of the most beloved and profound characters and moments StarCraft Entertainment spans nearly 60 years.
Hallmark’s Pop Culture Adventures – 12:15 noon, Heting
For decades, Hallmark’s products have connected your favorite memories of iconic characters from film, television and comics. Come take a look and hear the creators talk about the making of souvenir decorations, plush figures, gift products and more. Plus, you’ll get a sneak peek before everyone else at what’s to come in the year ahead, culminating with a Q&A for a chance to win prizes.
McFarlane Toy Multiverse – 1:30 p.m., Heting
Todd McFarlane and the panel take a deep dive into the world of toys and collectibles from the DC Multiverse, Marvel, Bleach, Spawn and more. The McFarland Toys team will be taking a closer look at some highly anticipated products with special guests, while also revealing some surprises and offering giveaways.
Lionel Trains – 125 Years of Memories – 2:45 p.m., Heting
James Zahn, editor-in-chief of The Toy Book and senior editor of The Pop Insider, moderated the discussion, moderated by Lionel Trains’ Mike Phillips and Lauren Morris, to delve into the iconic brand’s 125-year legacy and its deep pop culture connections. The Nacelle team returns to the stage to get an inside look at the new season Toys make usincluding episodes focused on Hot Wheels, Ghostbusters, NERF, Pokémon, and more.
Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant Ltd. – 5:15 p.m., River Pavilion
In a presentation hosted by Marketing Executive Zach Oat, the teams behind Diamond Select Toys (DST) and Gentle Giant LTD go behind the scenes to learn about their upcoming 2025 products and conduct a Q&A where you can ask them any questions you want. Panel members include DST Chairman Chuck Terceira, sculptor Jean St. Jean, sculptor Chris Dahlberg, designer Nelson X. Asencio, etc.
Toy Tubers gather at NYCC – 6:30 p.m., Heting
Geek Jay Glatfelter. dad. Life hosted a panel of toy YouTube bloggers (“Toy Tubers”), including D Amazing and Jonathan from Nostalgia Unboxed, and Toy Anxiety’s Craig Goldberg, Abigail Gardner, and Jacob Walsh. Following a similar panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) this summer, Toy Tubers will unveil major displays at NYCC, including products from NECA, Mattel, Hasbro and more.
