Following their initial announcement in early June, the first list of nominees for the first American Comics Awards has been revealed, and the list reflects the incredibly diverse tastes of the judges chosen to read all comics. Here are the best titles in terms of translation quality, font capabilities, and graphic design, showcasing the absolute best in localization.
The awards ceremony will be held on August 22, 2024 at the Japan Society of New York City’s Lila Acheson Wallace Auditorium, prior to this year’s AnimeNYC conference. Good luck to the nominees!
