About two years ago, Image Comics’ Massive-Verse added an odd little addition to its lineup in Kyle Higgins, Brian Bucatello, and Geraldo Borges. nobody. Instead of repeating the tokusatsu genre like other comics gloss black and Lucky for the dead, It’s a 10-part noir story with a little extra behind the scenes thanks to a companion podcast starring Patton Oswalt and Rachel Leigh Cook extra portion. Like other large poetry books, it feels tailor-made for the jump to other mediums, and it does so in feature-length form.
As revealed during the Massive-Verse panel at San Diego Comic-Con, nobody Courtesy of Higgins’ Black Market storytelling and production company ZQ Entertainment, it’s coming to the big screen. Higgins will also co-write the script with Bucatello and direct the film, making his debut after directing short films alliance and shadow moment. The film adaptation will reportedly borrow elements from the podcast, but it’s unclear if that means its voice cast – which also includes Star Wars: Picard’s Todd Stashwick will be one of them.
nobody The show, which debuted early last year, focused on a series of gruesome killings in Pittsburgh known as the Richard Roy murders. In this 10-part comic, the book explores the aftermath of these killings, including the emergence of copycats, a growing political movement, and the titular vigilantes. The series just wrapped its final chapter earlier this week, but it sounds like it’s been a bestseller for Image since its launch. This is definitely a big step forward for the Massive-Verse, and opens the door for more superhero exploits from Radiant Black and others in his orbit, which should eventually get their own adaptations nobody Take off with the audience.
