Are the Olympics getting you in the mood for some friendly competition? My Nintendo Store is having a massive sale on multiplayer games, so you can duke it out with friends from the comfort of your couch (or cardboard bed).
Nintendo’s Play Together sale runs now until Sunday, August 11, or the end of the Paris Olympics, with discounts of up to 84% on popular co-op games and DLC for its Switch console. (Note that it’s advertised as “up to 50% off,” but we found some even higher discounts.) The product line spans a variety of genres, but has a particular focus on sporty products; Thoughts Nintendo Switch Sports and Mario and Sonic at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics ——Obviously the last article in the “Mario and Sonic at the Olympics” series.
Prices start at just $3.24, and most of the deals were matched at Best Buy and Target when we last checked. Scroll down to see our curated list of highlights.
Why we love it:
The International Olympic Committee is reportedly giving up on Mario & Sonic over NFTs and eSports, but we’re not ready to move on just yet. Its last collaboration with Nintendo and Sega was set during the 2020 Summer Olympics and included more than 30 events, including karate, gymnastics, archery and showjumping. This appears to be one of the biggest discounts ever, at least compared to Amazon’s historical pricing.

Why we love it:
Launched last fall, this magical farm simulator is a must-play comfort game. It just received its second major update, adding new characters, areas, outfits, potions, and more, and it’s completely free for Team Switch (non-PC).
