Nintendo will add two more classic games to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service next week. F-Zero: GP Legend and F-Zero Climax will be added to the Game Boy Advance library on October 11th.
GP Legend and Climax, originally released in 2003 and 2004 respectively, were the last two F-Zero games released for the Game Boy Advance. In addition to the standard Grand Prix and Time Trial modes, GP Legend also features a story mode and an extensive roster of racers.
At the same time, the F-Zero Climax has never been localized before, and this is the first time it has been officially launched outside Japan. It features a course editor and is known for being the last new installment in the series. After its release, the F-Zero series fell silent for more than 19 years until the F-Zero 99 was launched in 2023.
As mentioned, both games will be available through Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack program, which offers subscribers a premium package with additional benefits, including access to classic Nintendo 64 games as well as select DLC expansions for certain Switch games.
