Loop Heroes (from $4.94, from $14.99)
cycle hero It’s as hard to put down as the best idle games, but it has enough meat to its bones to make you feel like your input actually matters. Death’s Door (from $4.99, from $19.99)
death’s door is one of the perfect combinations of great presentation and powerful gameplay. The game does both of these things well enough, but it does both at the same time, and the result is outstanding. There’s nothing too deep about the game’s mechanics, and its action style will be familiar to most people. The most impressive is the boss, which requires strong pattern recognition and good reflexes. The gorgeous sights and sounds along the way add greatly to the atmosphere of the game, doing their part to draw players into this unusual and engrossing world. Fans of action RPGs will definitely want to give it a try.
Messenger (from $3.99, from $19.99)
That’s the lowest price for a Switch version of the popular indie action game, and it’s so low that I can’t imagine anyone not wanting to place a bet. A deceptively simple ninja action game that gets bigger and more ambitious as you go along, and it handles things relatively well. It’s not a perfect game, and I feel like its star has faded a bit over time, but it’s one of those indie games that everyone who loves 8-bit and 16-bit classics should try at least once.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 Turbo (from $14.99, $49.99)
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbo The arcade racing game is just as fun as the first game, and various tweaks and improvements to the formula make it a smoother experience. Newcomers to the series should also be able to easily jump right into this sequel. If you like racing, you can’t go wrong spending fifteen bucks.
Pepper Grinder (from $9.74, from $14.99)
pepper grinder is a fun, unique platformer with a fast pace, interesting mechanics, and some cool level design. The boss battles are a little clunky and only detract from an otherwise very tense experience. It’s also worth noting that the game runs very fast, so consider that before buying. I personally think it ends a little too soon, but that’s not a terrible problem for a game, especially when the sticker price has been shaved off a bit.
