I have high hopes for recent horror movies long legs. With the buzz leading up to the launch and the fantastic marketing campaign, it’s hard not to get wrapped up in the excitement.

I love the marketing of this movie. I love how they used it to build suspense and create this creepy mystery. The marketing campaign was fantastic!

So the anticipation is exciting, with social media buzzing with claims that the film is the scariest of the decade. I even convinced my 19-year-old daughter (who is also a horror movie fan) to join me for the experience.

But unfortunately, long legs Lives up to the hype. From the moment the movie started, it was obvious that this wasn’t going to be the great movie I was expecting.

My daughter pointed this out first and said it was boring. She is right. The film lacks the thrills, chills, and horror it promises. It’s a slow burn, and while I usually enjoy movies that take their time building suspense, this one never seemed to catch fire.

I thought I would be dragged into the depths of hell, on an unforgiving and terrifying journey. Instead, the film falls flat, with none of the horror elements landing effectively.

Compare The Silence of the Lambs and Selenium 7en Grossly exaggerated. long legs Not on the same level as those masterpieces. It has some interesting ideas and elements, but lacks overall execution.

Nicolas CagePlaying a deranged serial killer really brought his signature flair to the role. He tries to combine his serial killer persona with a sense of madness and uniqueness, but even his performance can’t elevate the film. It’s definitely not his most high-profile role.

directed by Ozzie Perkins, long legs as follows Nice MonroeThe character Lee Harker is a brilliant new FBI agent assigned to investigate an unsolved serial killer case. The story tells a complex tale that reveals mysterious evidence and a personal connection between Huck and his killer.

It’s a race against time to stop the killer before another innocent family is victimized. However, the film’s slow pace and lack of climactic payoff leave a lot to be desired.

While this movie wasn’t for me, it’s still worth checking out for die-hard horror fans. Maybe you’ll appreciate it more than I do.

But for me, long legs Disappointingly, it fails to live up to its promise and doesn’t live up to the high standards set by its predecessors in the genre.
