    NFL Rivals partners with Kansas City Chiefs for 2024 NFL season

    “NFL Rivals”, the official licensed mobile game of the NFL and the NFL Players Association, announced its partnership with the current Super Bowl 58 champion Kansas City Chiefs, making NFL Rivals the “Official Chiefs Mobile Game” of the NFL in the 2024 season.

    The partnership will kick off at the start of the NFL season, marking the second year of NFL Rivals, and will include a variety of fan engagement activities such as tailgate events, in-stadium branding and sweepstakes giving fans the chance to win VIP experiences Chiefs home game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

    It will culminate with a special rival-themed Chiefs game for which select fans will receive tickets.

    What is an NFL rival?

    NFL Rivals is a free sports game built using blockchain technology, in which players play the role of NFL general managers. In the game, players can form and manage a team of NFL stars, and there is a system for collecting NFTs, allowing users to build and trade their rosters.

    NFL Rivals is the first mobile game officially licensed by the NFL to integrate digital ownership features. As it enters its second season, the game has been downloaded more than 5 million times and has been played more than 115 million times.

    “After the huge success of NFL Rivals’ inaugural season, we are excited to partner with one of the NFL’s most storied and successful franchises, the Kansas City Chiefs,” said John Linden, CEO of Mythical Games. “With my hometown team I couldn’t be happier with this partnership.”

    “We are excited to have NFL Rivals join our family as the official mobile game of the Chiefs,” said Kim Hobbs, vice president of partnership strategy and development for the Kansas City Chiefs. “We remain focused on engaging fans. and consumer NFL, and action gaming is a growing market, especially among our younger fans.”

    The game can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.
