Netflix releases trailer for animated series Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara CroftLaura (voiced by Hayley Atwell) seems to be going backpacking to find herself.
Continuing her origin story in the 2018 game Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft Lola abandons her friends to become a solo adventurer traveling the world. Nonetheless, she is eventually forced to return home when a powerful Chinese artifact is stolen from her estate in England. However, even this return is short-lived, as Lara’s pursuit of the thief drives her to new countries, where there are graves old and new to raid.
It is unclear whether Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft The question of what exactly this Chinese artifact is doing in a British manor will be addressed first. However, this may be a possibility. The series will follow Lara Croft through her personal struggles as she confronts who she has become and who she wants to be—while, of course, raiding tombs.
The series will also feature the voices of Alan Maldonado and Earl Bailen, who will reprise their roles as Jonah from “Jonah.” Tomb Raider game.
