The official synopsis is: “Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up on traveling to the United States and returned with new determination. Director-writer-producer Hwang Dong-hyuk returns to host the drama, and the cast includes returning Lee Byung-hun (vocalist), Wei Ha-joon (detective), and Gong Yoo (salesman). The new cast includes Im Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Kyu-young, Lee Jin-wook, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-hee, David Lee, Choi Seung-hyun, Noh Jae-won, Jo Yuri, and Won Ji-an.
squid game Season 2 will premiere on Netflix on December 26. The third and final season will also be released in 2025.
