It turns out NBA fans will be able to play the game sooner than expected, if you so choose. Pre-order your copy for PlayStation, Xbox or PC. 2K Sports announced that early previews will begin on September 4, two days before the game’s official release on September 6. This pre-order offer applies to both physical and digital versions of the game, and major retailers such as Amazon have adjusted the date for PlayStation and Xbox physical versions to September 4th. This surprising pre-order benefit does not apply to the Nintendo Switch version of NBA 2K25.
