Disney officially lifts censorship ban Agatha has always It will be released on Disney+ tomorrow. Now that the first reactions from those who’ve seen screener copies of the first four episodes are out, let’s see what the world thinks of Marvel’s latest series.
Overall, people seem to be pretty excited about Marvel’s return, especially considering it’s tied to Wanda Visionwhich really kicked off the era of Marvel television with a bang… one that, let’s be honest, many shows since have tried in vain to recapture. Praise was mostly directed at Kathryn Hahn’s return as Agatha, and Aubrey Plaza’s potentially acerbic, deadpan new character Leo Vidal. Joe Locke’s enigmatic “Teenager” was also cited as a highlight, with critics describing his performance as a “gem”, “a blast” and a “scene stealer”. Even better, the series is considered “crazy” while boasting some “actually terrifying scares” that fit its subject matter. In contrast, some other reviews noted that it was “a bit slow” and “didn’t take itself seriously enough” to keep viewers interested enough on their own. In a positive note, one reviewer offered mild praise Agatha has always as in “actual feeling[ing] Compared to other recent shows on Disney+.
#AgathaAllAlong It’s the perfect follow-up to “WandaVision”! 💜 The first 4 episodes are a great mix of Hocus Pocus and The Wizard of Oz, with a hint of horror and a lot of comedy.
This series is very interesting and engaging. It has the same charming atmosphere as WandaVision.

“Agatha Always” is absolutely insane in every way.
Kathryn Hahn is a force as we all know she plays Agatha Harkness. The rest of the cast is also great, Joe Locke is a gem.
Vivid, quirky, brilliant. #AgathaAllAlong🔮 pic.twitter.com/UZFwaD1AXO

#AgathaAllAlong The perfect show for the spooky season, packed with great witch energy. Kathryn Hahn is as iconic as ever and delivers a wonderful and captivating performance. Joe Rock is a scene stealer. It’s the most fun you’ll have at a show this year. pic.twitter.com/jieZUrWWIU

Top 4 #AgathaAllAlong eps are strong sequels to WANDAVISION because they have their own characteristics.
The songs are great. Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza are dynamic. Debra Jo Rupp delivers the laughs, but this is the scariest MCU project yet.

#AgathaAllAlong Very interesting! It’s a wizardry spin-off that casts its own spell. Kathryn Hahn is wonderfully naughty, Joe Locke is a joy to watch, and the coven chemistry will keep you hooked. If there’s one character who deserves her own spin-off, it’s Agatha Harkness. Kathryn Hahn is better than ever, and her performances only get better when she takes center stage. As for Joe Rock, he’s a total scene-stealer and will undoubtedly become the new @Miracle Fan favorite. #AgathaAllAlong 💜✨ pic.twitter.com/eH5sJxpKSl

#AgathaAllAlong It’s a wild, sinister, fun, mysterious journey with some truly terrifying scares. I wasn’t too excited at first, but after watching it I became a complete fan. Compared to other Disney+ shows, it actually feels like television, both in writing and pacing. Can’t wait for more! pic.twitter.com/AEJLO4RmrP

I have a lot of worries #AgathaAllAlongbut I’m happy to report that this witch is loving everything she’s seen so far. I’ve had a lot of fun with the theory and I really hope it lands successfully! pic.twitter.com/rozbzcsOjW

Watched the first 4 episodes #AgathaAllAlong. It doesn’t matter. After an interesting start, it slows down. It doesn’t take itself or its characters seriously, and viewers shouldn’t either. The mysterious character played by Joe Locke is the only likable character, but he has to play Marvel’s mysterious marketing gimmick… pic.twitter.com/agFTZaWCVE

#AgathaAllAlong It’s so much fun! Kathryn Hahn is as talented as any other actress! However, it is #jorock Someone who has always fascinated me!
The first 4 episodes were a bit slow…I wish they learned more…and it had a Hocus Pocus vibe… pic.twitter.com/fazV1r7cBr— Jana N Nagase – Jana On Camera (@janaoncamera) September 17, 2024
#AgathaAllAlong is camp, and Kathryn Hahn sells it in every scene. It’s fun, it’s sexy, and Aubrey Plaza is cast as Marvel’s Witch. pic.twitter.com/GH5wbwU2I7

#AgathaAllAlong It’s another fun trek into the Marvel Cinematic Universe – the first four episodes set up an interesting journey, but it’s the cast’s amazing chemistry that really carries the show. Kathryn Hahn is superb, but it’s Aubrey Plaza who steals the show. Let’s set off along the Witch’s Road! pic.twitter.com/rdejLxjYf9
