The problem with writing a comment on any simple “good” is that there isn’t much to say about it. For example, a terrible work can highlight the way people can do better, and even allow people to burn it to make it terrible. Work in question can have interesting ways to target what you want or can possibly be. A great job can inspire people to engage in thematic and structural interactions that make it great.
But the perfect job like Carol Lay Murder Fort Confusing one person about how to deal with it. You can certainly see the influence, most famously Adams Family. Murder Fort This is largely about the family story of the titular mayor of Hamburg, trying to make it profitable with rival rogues, demonic black widows and snobs. But this lacks the Gothic wisdom of Charles Addams’ classic work. How it rapports well with the homicide town and the outside world is quite fundamental.
If this is a more interesting job, you can make a comparison Double Peaks. But, with Hobtown Mystery Storythe comparison did not reveal anything about the work. Of course, you can try comparing Murder FortAnya, the psychological mom to the log ladies, but all you have to do is reveal the obvious and cliché of the former until dressed up like Cleopatra.
And, to be honest, this is not a bad comic. There are some fascinating moments, especially in the vignette “Art Attack”, and the short story “Work One Man” is a work of melancholy and loss. And while art is basically simple and obvious in character design, this simplicity can be very good at involving comedy, especially under the stimulation of a dog.
But that doesn’t change it’s a largely flat short story, and humor tends to be more humor than hits. (A noteworthy example is a gag in the first story, “Say goodbye to the Armory,” in which a character completely nakedly spends the story in the background of one or two panels after he is driven out of the house by the evil Whatsername.) Good.
