Russian circus visits the United States. The Joker wants to defect, but doesn’t have the courage. However, his saxophonist friend decided to defect in the middle of Bloomingdale’s. He befriends the black security guard and falls in love with the Italian immigrant behind the perfume counter. We follow his life as he strives to achieve the American dream and try to find a job as a musician.
