Hasbro Entertainment rolls the dice through two movie projects inspired by its classic board game monopoly. The highly anticipated work will bring monopoly characters to screens of all sizes, from feature-length movies to scriptless TV series.

In a real monopoly way, broadcasters and streaming platforms are caught in the bidding war for the property.
With the help of Lionsgate and Margot Robbie’s Luckychap, Hasbro Entertainment will also turn monopoly into a full-length feature film. Although the work is still in its early stages, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein signed the script. Recently written and directed another board game-inspired movie, Paramount’s movie Dungeon and Dragon: Honor between Thievesthe duo plans to provide fresh, fun spins for the timeless franchise.
Lionsgate’s co-president Erin Westerman believes Daley and Goldstein are excellent choices to shape the future of monopoly. “We have always been admirers of their work – telling bold, original, smart stories of all audiences. They are the perfect architects for the franchise,” she said.
