Microsoft will reportedly add last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to Game Pass this month, which will mark the first time the series has appeared on the subscription service.
The news comes from a new report from Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, who says “it’s understood the news could be released as early as today.”
If this is indeed Microsoft’s plan, it would be a way for the company to soften the blow from the recent Game Pass price increase. Not only will the cost of each level go up, but day-one games like Black Ops 6 coming in October will only be available on Game Pass Ultimate.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming soon, and consistent with several reports last week, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will be added to Game Pass in August. It is said that “Sparrow: Reignited Trilogy” and “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2” will also be available on Game Pass.
If Modern Warfare 3 does come to Game Pass, will Microsoft gradually add the rest of the series over time, or will it want them all added to the service as soon as possible to entice people put off by the price increase and help build Is there even more promotion for Black Ops 6?
