    Garcelle Beauvais unquestionably gives voice to the voiceless. Her production company, Garcelle Productions, previously partnered with Lifetime to bring audiences its first film, Missing Black Girls, in 2023. three original movies), fans didn’t realize it.

    “Kidnapped from HBCUs: Missing Black Girls” will premiere on Lifetime on July 20 at 8 p.m. According to the channel, the film “aims to highlight the growing epidemic of missing black women and girls, especially those from disadvantaged communities.” Starring in the film is Tanyell Quian as college student Shannon Shannon, played by Naturi Naughton as her counselor, Ms. Ellen. When Shannon goes missing, Alan is the only one who notices. With other college staff ignoring the matter, Allen must take action. Garcelle is only executive producing this time around.
