Peacock has released a new trailer for its upcoming heist thriller series titled Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist. star of show Kevin HartIt tells the true story of an armed robbery that occurred after Muhammad Ali’s historic comeback in 1970.
Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist Adapted from the critically acclaimed iHeart true crime podcast, it explores how the robbery “not only changed one man’s life, but ultimately turned Atlanta into a ‘Black Mecca.'”
When a con man named Chicken Man (Hart) throws an after-party to celebrate the fight with the nation’s wealthiest guest list, the night ends with the most brazen underworld heist in Atlanta’s history.
“Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is desperate to clear his name, but must convince his old rival J.D. Hudson.Don Cheadle), one of the first black detectives on the city’s desegregated police force, was tasked with bringing perpetrators to justice.
Fight Night: Million Dollar Heist is a series created and executive produced by screenwriter Shaye Ogbonna, and the cast also includes Samuel Jackson, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard, Chloe Bailey, Martha Stephanie Black, Dexter Dutton, Lori Harveyand Xinqua wall.
The director of the series is Craig Brewer (The moan, freedom, noise and flow of the black snake) The drama will premiere on September 5th.
