The biggest Super Mario LEGO set gets an extremely rare discount ahead of Prime Big Deal Days. On Amazon you can get Mighty Bowser costs $234 instead of the usual $270. On the surface, saving $36 doesn’t seem like a huge price cut, but The Mighty Bowser has almost always been on sale at full price since its launch two years ago — in fact, as of October 1, that was exactly two years ago .

Mighty Bowser is easily one of the coolest LEGO Mario sets. Bowser may have always failed in his attempts to rule the Mushroom Kingdom alongside Princess Peach, but he does hold the record for the highest brick count in the LEGO Super Mario series. The Mighty Bowser took the crown from the Nintendo Entertainment System Replica Kit (2,646 pieces) with 2,807 pieces.
When fully built, the King Koopa is 12.5 inches tall and 16 inches wide, so you may need to clear some shelf space to display this big guy. With the included stand and bowser tail, the depth of the model is 11 inches.
While you could call Mighty Bowser a statue, he’s also a giant action figure. His tail, arms, and legs are all movable, so you can display Bowser in a variety of different poses. In addition to the hinge joint, Bowser’s jaw also breaks, with buttons underneath that turn his head. He can also shoot fireballs to (try to) stop Mario from foiling his plans again. When Bowser takes his stance, he is flanked by towers of blazing fire.
There is also a hidden POW block designed specifically for the LEGO Mario, Luigi and Peach characters to stomp on. While Mighty Bowser isn’t considered a playset – it’s one of five LEGO Mario sets primarily aimed at adults – it does interact with the characters included in the introductory course. If you press LEGO Mario against Bowser’s shell, he will react to Bowser’s presence.
