Michael Mann fans got quite a surprise at a sold-out screening at the American Cinematheque miami vice The filmmaker appeared in person at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on Saturday.
Mann co-hosts the show with film writers and critics Katie Walsh and Blake Howard Miami Nice The podcast centers on the 2006 Mann feature starring Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell, offering a lively post-screening Q&A. Sources revealed that several attendees flew to Los Angeles for the event, including Howard. Host of another Mann-centric podcast, One hot minuteflew in from his home in Australia for the special screening. The screening is in 35mm and is part of the American Film Center’s “Friends of the Holidays” series.
