The newly released Meta Quest 3S comes with a great launch bundle that makes this already affordable headset even more attractive. From now until April 30, 2025, while supplies last, Quest 3S will be bundled with Batman: Arkham Shadow, a Quest 3-exclusive action game that pits the Caped Crusader against the Rat King duel. The Meta Quest 3S launch package is available in two storage configurations: 128GB for $300 and 256GB for $400. Pre-orders are now available at several major retailers, including Amazon and Best Buy.
Launched during Meta Connect 2024, the Quest 3S features the same chipset, Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2, and the same amount of RAM (8GB) as the standard Quest 3. Just like the Quest 3, you get a pair of Touch Pro controllers that support gesture controls for navigating menus. According to Meta, the Quest 3S has slightly better battery life, with an average playtime of two and a half hours on a single charge, compared to two hours for the regular Quest 3.
Where the cost is reduced is in the lenses. The Quest 3S features the 1832 x 1920 Fresnel lens found in the Meta Quest 2, while the more expensive Meta Quest 3 features a 2064 x 2208 pancake lens for increased resolution and clarity. In addition to the lower-resolution lens, the Quest 3S also eliminates the depth sensor and has a narrower field of view.

The base 128GB Meta Quest 3S sells for $300, the same price as the now-discontinued Meta Quest 2. One of the 3 and 3S exclusive works, “Batman: Shadow of Arkham”. The new Batman game will be released on October 22, one week after the Quest 3S goes on sale.
The limited-time Meta Quest 3S bundle also comes with three months of Meta Quest+, a subscription plan that normally costs $8 per month. With Quest+, you get two free games each month (valued up to $50). You can keep these freebies even if you cancel your subscription. If you’re new to the Meta Quest ecosystem, you’ll actually get seven free games when you buy the Quest 3S. Since the Quest 3S launched in October, you’ll get two free games every month through the end of the year.
Amazon is also offering a bundle that includes the Elite Strap, one of the most popular first-party accessories for the Meta Quest headset. Elite straps replace the preset straps and are designed to provide better weight distribution to minimize pressure on your face. The strap comes with a dial that allows you to make quick adjustments.
You can pre-order the Meta Quest 3S bundle with Elite Strap on Amazon for $365.73. If Amazon lowers the price of a bundle before launch, you’ll pay the lowest price when the pre-order item ships. If you’re not sure about the Elite strap, you can buy it separately later. Currently, buying the headphones and Elite Strap separately costs the same as Amazon’s bundle.

The 256GB Meta Quest 3S is available for pre-order on Amazon and Best Buy for $400. Like the 128GB version, you’ll get Batman: Arkham Shadow and three months of Meta+. Amazon offers the Quest 3S 256GB package, which includes the Elite Strap, for $465.73.

If you want to play Batman: Shadow of Arkham but would rather opt for the more powerful Meta Quest 3, the same bundle will be available starting October 15th. But Best Buy does have a listings page.
The Meta Quest 3 Batman: Shadow of Arkham bundle is priced at $500, which sounds like a pretty good deal considering the current price of the 512GB Quest 3. Meta has announced the bundle, and the Quest 3 has also dropped in price.
The 128GB model is being discontinued, but remaining stock will be on sale for $430 (originally $500). Due to discontinuation, the 128GB Quest 3 will not be included in the new Batman bundle.
