If you’ve been itching to get into VR but were waiting for the perfect excuse, this is the one for you. The Meta Quest 3 is one of the top VR headsets available, and it just received a hefty discount on Amazon and other retailers. In the UK, you can buy the 128GB version for £409.99, or the 512GB version for £469. Native American? The 512GB version is $499 on Amazon, which is $150 less than the usual price.
Why did the price suddenly drop? Blame it on the release of the shiny new Meta Quest 3S. This affordable little brother removes some features but retains the essentials that make VR easier to use.
Launched on Meta Connect, the Quest 3S gets you into VR at a lower price, with prices starting at £289.99/$299.99 for the 128GB version and £379.99/$399.99 for the 256GB version. It’s around £200/$200 cheaper than the regular Quest 3, so it’s perfect if you’re just getting into VR.
What’s more: If you buy it before April 30 next year, both Quest 3 and Quest 3S come bundled with Batman: Shadow of Arkham and a three-month trial of Meta Quest+. The Quest 3S is available for pre-order now and will be available on October 15th.
