Today, August 8, marks the start of the NFL preseason. To celebrate the opening, Mattel launched UNO Elite NFL, an updated version of UNO that features special edition cards of players from all 32 teams.
The card game includes six players from each team, including Patrick Mahomes, Justin Jefferson, Josh Allen, Christian McCaffrey, Justin Tucker, Micah Pa Sens and more in the 2023-24 season.
There are over 190 players in the game, four collectible levels, and over 2,000 variations of player card actions. The UNO Elite NFL Starter Pack contains three types of cards: 112 cards, which play like standard UNO cards; 56 player cards, in which NFL players take one or more actions to make a roster; and four foil cards, Fans can play and collect. Fans can also receive the UNO Elite NFL Draft Pack, which includes 56 player cards and four foil cards.

“Our latest UNO Elite expansion, UNO Elite NFL, is a premium innovation for fans of both UNO and the NFL,” said Ray Adler, Mattel vice president and global head of gaming. “UNO fans can now display their favorite NFL player cards, compete with friends and continue to grow their collections with premium foil cards. Every year we bring new NFL player cards and new themes to fans to provide fresh gameplay gameplay and more collectible value.
Every year, Mattel plans to release new UNO cards and decks to reflect new lineups and fresh gameplay. The UNO Elite NFL Starter Pack ($14.99) and UNO Elite Draft Pack ($4.99) are available for pre-order at Walmart and will be available in stores this fall.
