Mattel reveals a range of fully customizable Barbie dolls at this year’s Toy Fair. Retailing at $100, Barbie Doll Basics: The doll kit you create includes a variety of mixed and matched heads, wigs, body types, clothes and other accessories to create the perfect doll for every child. The kits will be launched on March 6 on Mattel Creation’s website.
With these scenes, children can endlessly explore their imaginations to create charming new styles. These dolls are even compatible with Barbie Base 15th Anniversary Doll No. 3 for more exchange fun.
Mattel also launched its 2025 spring surprise toy collection. Inspired by the success of the blind box trend, Barbie Doll Party: Unboxed Dolls feature 10 unique surprises for kids to discover in packaging themed with colorful birthday gifts.

Later this fall, Barbie luxury style dolls are making a makeover! Eight charming new dolls will join the collection’s favorite collection, each with an elegant, shiny look. Mattel will also introduce rare chase variants to the series, with the first retailing only on Target this spring. These limited edition dolls will have unique characters and look for long-time Barbie doll lovers.
Barbie Doll Basics: The doll kit you created will be available on the Mattel Creation website on March 6. The rest of the Barbie doll products will be released in the coming year.
