Mattel and Warner Bros. Discovery release new details about animated TV show barney’s world. The new Max series will premiere on October 14, marking the character’s return to screens after 14 years.
The preschool drama will feature new characters, old friends, updates on classic Barney scenes, and original music. In addition to premiering on Max and later on Cartoon Network in the US on October 18, certain episodes will also be available on YouTube.
The show has 52 episodes, each of 11 minutes, with Barney (voiced by Jonathan Landon) helping his friends cope with their challenges in a friendly, caring way. Families can look forward to seeing Baby Bop, an opinionated dinosaur who promotes all feelings, and Billy, an energetic dinosaur who encourages viewers to express their true selves.
Viewers will also interact with David, an understanding child who loves hugging and laughing with his family; Mel, an active, multilingual, multiracial girl of Korean and Mexican descent; and Vivi, an active, multilingual, multiracial girl of Korean and Mexican descent. (Vivie) is a creative, artsy child who lives with her Nonna and loves sharing Italian traditions.
