Ultimate Comics is about to enter its second year, and to celebrate, Marvel Comics has unveiled some new foil covers. New ONE YEAR IN FOIL variant of the industry’s best-selling comic of 2024 from acclaimed cover artists and Pixar animators Benjamin Su All Ultimate games will debut in Issue 13, including ultimate spiderman, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Men, and ultimate skill——Marvel Comics’ new interpretation of the Avengers.
Sue’s work includes serving as animation director on The Elements (2023), as well as working with the animation department on such critically acclaimed hits as Going Red (2022), 9 (2009) and Brave (2012) . You can read more about it in Marvel’s official press release below.
Earlier this year, Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto launched Marvel Comics’ new Ultimate series Ultimate Spider-Man #1, a visionary interpretation of Marvel’s most iconic character that set the standard for the first wave of Ultimate games, including Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Menand ultimate skill. Each series captures readers’ imaginations, and to mark a year of extraordinary storytelling, 13th question Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate Black Panther, Ultimate X-Menand ultimate skill will feature a one-year foil variant cover created by acclaimed cover artist and Pixar animator Benjamin Su.
Told in real time, each consecutive issue of Ultimate Game is released one month apart. This fast-paced storytelling means that the lives of Peter Parker and T’Challa on Earth-6160 have changed dramatically as they enter Year Two. A year of foil covers for Ultimate Spider-Man and Ultimate Black Panther depicting their greatest challenges. Kraven embarks on the ultimate hunt, Spider-Man becomes the prey, and Black Panther risks his soul to seek the help of the mysterious Sorcerer Supreme in Wakanda’s war against Moon Knight.
