this week, Deadpool and Wolverine It’s in theaters now and fans are excited. We’ve been waiting for this movie for a long time, it’s the only Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to hit theaters this year, and it looks like it’s going to turn things around for the studio.
It brings a lot of surprises and characters, and with the movie’s forays into the multiverse, it seems like we could really encounter anything.
So fans are eager to watch the movie as soon as possible to avoid spoiling the surprise. But the President of Marvel Kevin Feige There’s a theory that spoilers don’t actually ruin a movie.
“It’s hard,” he explained in a recent interview with ComingSoon [to keep secrets] Almost impossible these days. I think I realized a long time ago that keeping secrets is a good thing.
“The only reason we wanted to keep it a secret was to keep it a surprise. So the audience, that packed theater, could discover things for the first time, get that adrenaline rush of surprise for the first time.
“But what I learned is that if this moment works in the movie, and if you win this minute, once the lights go out in the theater, everything will go back to the way it was and people will have read it online or made predictions. Or read the rumor that when the lights go out, most of the audience’s feelings disappear and they experience something new.
“If the movie works, if those moments work, they will work. If it’s a surprise, that’s probably always better, but if they’re crafted into cinematic moments, then they work 99 percent of the time. So It makes me feel better when things are broken.
I understand what he means. I would still have enjoyed watching this movie in the theater even knowing some of the surprises, but I really feel like I would have enjoyed it more without knowing!
That’s why we bought our tickets in advance so we could see the first show, be surrounded by fans, and see everything for the first time, as expected.
I hope no one knows the fun secrets of this movie, and I hope it’s as great as we all expected it to be.
