Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four movie has announced its official title.
On Saturday, during Marvel Studios’ much-anticipated panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the film’s title was announced Fantastic Four: The First Step. Additionally, Michael Giacchino won an Academy Award for his score upwas announced as the film’s composer.
Matt Shakman will be released on July 25, 2025Wanda Vision) is directing the latest installment of the classic Marvel team-up originating from the 1961 comic. (“Human Torch”) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (“Mr. Fantastic”).
With Disney acquiring Fox, the team could join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Pascal shares first cast photo of newcomer Fantastic Four Earlier this week, the movie star joined forces with the film titled “Our First Mission.”
John Malkovich and Paul Walter Hauser will also appear. Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer are credited with writing the screenplay, while Wanda Vision’Peter Cameron also participated in the script writing of the film.
Following an unreleased feature film produced by Roger Corman in the 1990s, the Fantastic Four hit the big screen in director Tim Story’s 2005 film starring Chris Evan Starring: Jessica Alba, Ioan Gruffudd and Michael Chiklis. Although the film’s box office success led to a 2007 sequel, the film failed to impress critics, holding only a 28% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The team was later rebooted for Josh Trank’s 2015 feature starring Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell. The film did not do as well at the box office as the 2005 film, with a Rotten Tomatoes score of only 9%.
