2024 is the 85th anniversary MiracleA lot has changed since the comics company was founded in 1939. comic bookbut now it is well known game, televisionand of course Movie in the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe. To celebrate this milestone, the company released special video It’s full of great walks down memory lane, but if you pay attention, you’ll get your first look at some of the upcoming MCU projects.
The film itself is just under three minutes long and is posted on the official Marvel Entertainment website YouTube page August 29th. The clip then cuts to a montage that heightens nostalgia for Marvel Comics and the Marvel Universe itself. But towards the end of the film, we get a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment Thunder*, heart of steeland the long-awaited return of Daredevil rebirth series.
While these brief looks add up to no more than a few seconds, they’re our first look at the project beyond concept art. for Thunder* (Yes, there’s an asterisk in the title, no Kevin Feige didn’t tell us What is it about), let’s take a look at the entire team. These include Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Wyatt Russell U.S. Agent, as well as the return of David Harbour’s Red Guardian. Strike Force will essentially be the Marvel Universe’s Suicide Squad – a group of anti-heroes who carry out dangerous missions for the government.
this Daredevil: Rebirth This shot is especially exciting for fans because it marks the return of Charlie Cox to the role of Matt Murdock. The show will also reunite most of the cast from the Netflix series. All we really see is Cox wearing a mask, but that’s enough Daredevil fan. Cox already plays Daredevil in the MCU and has a brief cameo in the 2022 film She-Hulk. The series, which concluded its third season in 2018, remains one of the best Marvel projects across film and television, and the team’s reunion to create new stories makes it one of Marvel Entertainment’s most anticipated projects right now .
Finally, we get a short video heart of steel. The upcoming Disney+ series focuses on young talent Riri Williams, who we first met in 2022 Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Dominique Thorne will reprise her role). Riri was created in 2016 by Brian Michael Bendis, who also created Miles Morales. Combine your own intellect and scrappy inventive spirit with entertainment in Tony’s artificial intelligence. The show seems to be taking some cues from her comic book story, as the short clip shows her flying around in a makeshift Iron Man suit. The series is scheduled to premiere next year with a total of six episodes.
All in all, this 85th anniversary celebration video is a great look back at the many amazing worlds Marvel has created on page and screen in comics, and a great look into the future to keep fans excited.
