Say the devil’s name and he will appear. Neither Daredevil: Rebirth nor the rest of Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ original series will appear at Comic-Con 2024. The film makes up for this to fans. The video has not yet been officially released online. But if these clips are any indication, fans of the first Daredevil series will be delighted.
A common theme in the trailers is that Daredevil does a great job. Matt Murdock is back and he’s a force of nature. There are some familiar faces from the previous series, including Karen, Fudge, and even crime boss Wilson Fisk. Daredevil Season 3 apparently hasn’t been revived yet because Fisk knows Matt is Daredevil and he’s not afraid of him. The scene where they spend time together in a restaurant seems to pay homage to Heat. For some reason, Matt has multiple colored Daredevil masks, including the yellow one from She-Hulk: Lawyer .
Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle/The Punisher also returns in the scene, but he doesn’t seem to remember Matt. Frank has also seemed pretty rough since we last saw him in The Punisher Season 2. But as some fans have pointed out online, he could also be Muse, a recent Daredevil villain. Both characters are dressed in white, so it’s hard to tell them apart.
Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Ayelet Zuler and Wilson Bethel will all reprise their roles in the series their roles. “Daredevil: Rebirth” will premiere on Disney+ in March 2025, with production on the second season about to begin.
A lot happened on the first day of D23. Marvel debuted the Human Torch’s costume in Fantastic Four: The First Step. Star Wars: Skull Crew released its first trailer, Lucasfilm showed off early footage from The Mandalorian and Grogu, and Pixar announced Toy Story 5. Avatar 3 also received an official title.
