Launched on April 11, the new season will bring Emma Frost and Euttron as well as new maps, special events and various team tweaks
The season will be divided into two stages in three months: Emma Frost will arrive in the first half and Ultron will arrive for the second time. Both characters offer a unique play style – Emma uses the accusation as Vanguard Class Hero, seamlessly transferring between telepathy and her diamond form to defend allies and tear down enemies.
Now, the story begins after the eternal night, and Dracula is defeated, Emma Frost hosts the fire, and the plot surfaces after the eternal night arc ends. With Dracula’s defeat, Emma Frost hosted the Great Hellfire Feast in Krakoa. It’s safe to say that Hickman’s game changes X-Men fans and fanatics of Marvel’s rivals will have a lot to look forward to. This will include new team UPS and adjustments to existing teams, such as getting rid of “Metal Chaos” and “Voltaic Union” and even pulling certain heroes from other teams. Instead, Marvel and Netease focus on the core collaboration strategy of Marvel’s competitors and update some of the heroes fans consider too weak or too powerful. To address this NetSease, weekly tasks are being introduced to help bridge the gap and make full completion more achievable. Veterans of Arena Shooters will recognize that season two is usually the biggest change hit when it comes to the fight, so it’s no surprise that more things are being implemented.
Marvel competitors season 2 analysis
As a Marvel competitor, I have to say that these changes are a welcome sight. Netease continues to add new heroes and maps, trying to keep its old players base and hopes newbies can try the game. It’s refreshing to keep developers working hard to make their fan base better.
But what I have to comment is that Dr. Strange was removed from the “Gamma Allegations” which got my focus. If you’re always on the donation/received side of the team, it can be devastating, so to keep him out with Namor, hero fans keep saying underutilized, which is actually crazy. NetEase is even defeating Strange’s offensive power, which has been a meta-choice for staple food since its automatic initialization.
Then you get fans of Mr Fantastic and Mr Moon Knight, who are just supporting DPS except for the end person, which is not a matter of the game. They also spend time repairing many of them in the hopes of bringing more balance to the game as heroes like Sharks, Scarlett Witch, Penny Parker, Mr. Frantus, Black Widow and Rocket Raccoon. Most importantly, they are raising the minimum level requirements for level 10 to 15 competitiveness, noting that this is to give players some time to master the basics.
For me, this is one of the best things in this development announcement because at this point you have to work hard on bronzes and frankly, making competitive grinding more like a tedious effort than a heartbeat when I say I say you can say the gap in competitive levels is frightening. There are more changes, so make sure to check out all the details in Dev Vision Vol.05!
Looking ahead, the game’s seasonal format will move from Season 3 to a shorter two-month cycle with new heroes released each month, and more details will follow as the update approaches.
