As in previous years, the event will enumerate one of the winners of five honors finalists whose work is similar to a commitment to excellence and inclusion, just like the late Mr. McDuffy’s own efforts to create entertainment events, represented and created by a broad range of human experience. In addition, prolific comic creator Mark Waid joined the selection committee, which included BeatMy own Heidi McDonaldand other famous comics industry figures. .
