MAGNA-TILES’ partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org is entering its second year, with its latest education advocacy initiative providing MAGNA-TILES kits and AAC funding to more than 200 classrooms nationwide.
This partnership will provide assistance to teachers and students in Connecticut, New Hampshire and Oklahoma. According to AdoptAClassroom.org’s 2024 national survey, 50% of teachers need STEM classroom materials. MAGNA-TILES is providing participating teachers with multiple STEM-certified tile sets and funding of $300 per set through AdoptAClassroom.org to provide additional supplies they need.

“Teachers spend an average of $860 per year on school supplies for their students. They shouldn’t have to spend their own money to make sure students have access to the materials they need to learn,” said Ann Pifer, executive director of AdoptAClassroom.org. “We’re grateful that MAGNA-TILES supports teachers in meaningful ways. Teachers have always recognized the educational value of MAGNA-TILES sets, and we can’t wait to see how they will inspire young students to build and grow.
Since its founding 27 years ago, MAGNA-TILES has become the top magnetic building block brand in the United States, according to Circana.
"MAGNA-TILES was born in the classroom and we are proud to carry on a 27-year tradition of supporting teachers and inspiring young people. Through our multi-year partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, we are reaffirming our commitment to educators as they face new legislation requiring game-based learning curricula. We are committed to bridging the gap, investing in our teachers, and inspiring our future engineers, architects, and creative thinkers to realize their dreams one step at a time!"
