Warner Bros. releases new promo for director M. Night Shyamalanupcoming thrillers trapwhich focuses on the pop star from the film Lady Raven, played by M. Night’s biological daughter Saraika Shyamalan.
The promo highlights her new single “Save Me,” a song made for the film, a kind of music video promoting the song. It also includes new footage from the film.
movie star Josh HartnettThe story follows a father and his teenage daughter who attend a pop concert “where they realize they’re at the center of dark and sinister events.” Harnett really gives off awkward dad vibes in this trailer.
We learn that the concert is set up to catch a deranged serial killer named “The Butcher,” who happens to be Harnett’s character and the father who takes his daughter to the concert.
In this trailer, we learn what Butcher plans to do once he realizes the police have him trapped, and he basically starts causing mayhem at the concert. He says in the trailer that he felt out of control and started doing crazy things.
I liked what I saw from this movie, it looks like Shyamalan has made another great movie! I like this concept and it will be interesting to see how the story develops.
Shyamalan, who spoke about the film at CinemaCon, conceived the story with his pianist daughter and spent years trying to figure out a sinister story to tell about a connection to music.
This movie also stars Ariel Donoghue, Saraika Shyamalan, haley mills and allison pill.
