Lyft is rolling out a new feature aimed at making rides more inclusive for pet owners across the U.S. Just in time for National Dog Day, the company has announced the launch of its “Pet Ride” service, which will allow passengers to travel with their pets. Passengers are required to pay an additional $4 fee, which will be paid directly to the driver.
This new option is designed to ease the stress of traveling with pets, ensuring passengers are matched with drivers willing to have animals in their vehicles. Whether it’s a quick trip to the vet or a day at the park, pet owners can now take their furry friends with them without any hassle.
