One thing is clear, Lucasfilm doesn’t have much choice. In short: Lucasfilm needs something that will draw people in again. And Ewan McGregor, although Season 1 Obi-Wan Kenobiis the biggest name they still have, he’s quite young and can put out a franchise without using CGI or deepfakes. While a potential Carl Kestis series could also be exciting, it’s yet to be proven how successful the show can be. Lucasfilm will definitely need more than just a series in the near future. because later Ahsoka Season 2 will probably air in 2026 and there will actually be nothing.
