NBC has officially greenlit a spin-off series Suits: Los Angeles starring Stephen Amell. According to network representatives, it has not yet been decided whether the show will premiere midseason or take place during the 2025-26 season.
“Suits: Los Angeles” is set in the world of the USA Network original series and follows a new character, Ted Black (played by “Arrow” star Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York. , he reinvented himself to represent America’s most powerful clients. The official synopsis describes Ted’s company as being in crisis, forcing him to take on a role he’s always despised.
Ted is surrounded by a dynamic cast of characters who test their loyalties to him and each other, while their personal and professional lives intertwine. Meanwhile, events from the past slowly come to light, revealing why Ted left everything and everyone he loved behind.
Josh McDermitt (“The Walking Dead”) joins Amell as Stewart Lane, Ted’s best friend who helps him establish the Los Angeles company. The series’ regular cast also includes Lex Scott Davis (The L Word: Generation Q) as Erica Rollins, a savvy and strong-willed corporate starlet, and Brian Greenberg (“One Tree Hill”) stars as Rick Dotson.
Guest stars in the pilot include Alice Lee (Zoe’s Extraordinary Playlist) and Troy Wimbush (The Goldbergs, The Wild One), who may reprise their roles. Lee plays Leah, a young paralegal assigned to work with (or for) entertainment attorney Erica Rollins. Wimbusch plays Kevin, Ted’s old friend and ex-partner, a former FBI agent turned private investigator.
