On the eve of the Fall Toy Preview Marketing Week in Los Angeles, Little Rebels has announced a new licensing partnership with the Beverly Hills Teddy Bear Company (BHTB), facilitated by Cuesta Licensing.
Under the new agreement, BHTB, maker of the “world’s softest plush toys” range, becomes the primary plush toy licensee for the growing Little Rebels brand. Marjorie Spitalnik founded Little Rebels to provide “a fun and educational experience that allows young people to explore the incredible legacy of trailblazing women,” including Amelia Earhart, Mary Curie, Mary Jackson and Malala Yousafzai.
After noticing the lack of stories of female achievement in my daughter’s textbooks, I decided to change that. I found books, but nothing interactive or interesting. We learn better through play, so I decided to create a toy that would teach history in a fun way. That’s how Little Rebels was born in 2019.
Over the past five years, Little Rebels has become an award-winning brand with a companion app and a retail network that includes retailers and museums across the United States.
“I’m excited to be a part of innovative and modern plush technology to educate our ‘little rebels’ about the legendary rebels who blazed a trail for us all."
Retail buyers and other parties interested in Little Rebels or other Beverly Hills Teddy Bear products can schedule an appointment by calling 310.6254734. The BHTB showroom is located at 1960 E. Grand Ave., Suite 350, El Segundo, CA.
